What we do

Entrepreneurs Associates (EA) was founded in 2000 aspiring to transform the landscape of Nagaland. It aimed to do so by supporting First Generation Entrepreneurs (FGEs) and fostering spirit of self-reliance & responsible leadership in the psyche of Nagas. EA strongly believes that entrepreneurship is the way forward.

The work of EA is wide and varied engaging young and old, men and women to champion the concept of economic prosperity through entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs Associates has been training, mentoring, and networking with entrepreneurs to create a favourable entrepreneurship ecosystem in the state, and in the North East Region.  

Entrepreneurs Associates is a recognised model of social enterprise and has been awarded the Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 India by the Schwab Foundation, sister organisation of the World Economic Forum, as well as by the Ashoka: Innovators of the Public.

Incubation

EA seeds and empowers entrepreneurs and professionals through training, mentoring, and finance. 

Livelihoods

EA promotes profitable and sustainable livelihood by utilising local resources, local skills, and local production.

Providing Financial Linkages to Farmers and Entrepreneurs is one of the key objectives of EA.

Advocacy

EA has a strong advocacy vertical to create behavioural change, transform systems, and influence policy through research and knowledge exchange.

EA assists its farmers and entrepreneurs access market linkages to help them develop their businesses.
